Havent seen him driving for a while, anyone know why?
I think I asked that question myself
It might be one of those questions better not asked
Edit: The silly pic has nothing to do with Dash's absence
(thanks for making me realize the possible inference Brent)
Retired, I heard.
I did read somewhere that it was a smart decision on his part (think that's what Kev is on about) but I have no clue why....would love to know though.
Conspiricy theories aside, boy was he a great driver.
Could be a bit difficult to get to the races if you have to rely on having to be driven to tracks.

Correct!!!
When he stopped driving (oops) her horses that is when I noticed his absence
I've been told that he and MB are leaving the industry and the state to try and earn some money. Good luck to them .

Where is he? It would seem he has been working at a stable without a licence
Anyone interested in what Daryl Douglas has been up to he was interviewed on Len Bakers show last night. A recording of the show will be up on soundcloud.com soon. Interview with Daryl starts at about the 1 hour 7 minute mark.
The recording is loaded here

I tried to listen Paul but compared to the clarity of Len, Daryl was too hard to hear for a deaf coot like me - I did pick up that he has his car license back and is making a comeback to harness driving
Not now... got 12 months according to the website today

I guess all he has to do now is get his licence back
G Douglas still training a few. Word was he was getting out?
A speed hump?
VIC - Pending RAD Board Hearing – Daryl Douglas
20 April 2017
Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued charges against then disqualified person Mr Daryl Douglas under Australian Harness Racing Rules (AHRR) 259 (1) (g) & (h) and 187(1), 187 (2) and 187(6).
The allegations are Mr Douglas was observed by HRV Stewards working standardbred horses at a registered property at Deep Lead on 27 February, 2017, whilst then a disqualified person and he refused to answer questions, frustrated an inquiry on the day and refused to attend a further Stewards inquiry to answer questions surrounding the events on 27 February, 2017.
The charges will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be determined.
Unfortunate news regarding a very talented and successful driver:
Warned off.

If the stories that I have heard about this issue are correct ( I wont go into details out of respect for peoples privacy) , I think the board could have handled things better. I wish him all the best, and hope that one day we can see him driving again.
Would be celebrating tonight as VCAT hearing sees him with one quarter of the fines and no disqualification or warning off but he still has to attend a HRV inquiry

Glenn said he was especially looking forward to his association with brother Daryl off the track.
"There are fun times travelling to and from meetings. You do miss the camaraderie so it will be great to have him back at whatever level he's involved," he said.
Glenn seems to forget the Supreme Court is the only thing keeping him from Disqualification
