Nice read......

Any foals anyone??????
Ours are all due October on :( we even had a few served in Jan so its a late season
You should call the Heavenly Bread one The Last Supper
We have Bettors - Big Blue Eyes, A RNR Dance - Blue Sensation, Bettors - Eliza, Mach Three - Cielito, Mach Three - Eliza Grace, A RNR Dance - Gold Diamonds, Bettors - Lil Miss Hilarious, A RNR Dance - Motu Rubiesnsatin, Majestic Son - Tarn (first trotter we've ever bred). I think we have a few others but they're most of the main ones. Dad clearly liked A Rock N Roll Dance this year. I think we had something like 4 mares in foal to him. He better be good!
I'm excited for the Big Blue Eyes one - its full brother should have been right up there as a 3 year old in WA but had an undiagnosed hoof problem. He's right as rain now, though having a little spell. Her other had some major problem (a broken bone or a chip or something.. I can't remember) but he should be coming in. Fatty he is :)
Eliza has also had two really, really nice Bettors foals but both died :( Hopefully we have some luck with this one. Out of her other ones, Jasper Freeway did his tendon as a 3 year old, came back and raced well, hurt it again but is back jogging, Eliza Grace was a giant but lovely strong thing and the other two Safely Kept's had stifle problems - I guess genetic from their dad.
As they say, the good ones always hurt themselves. The crap ones could fall off a cliff and pick themselves up.
Thanks Katie.
I bred Weona Miss Timed, who is a 4th generation descendant of a mare called Miss Dominion that we bought from NZ in 1975. I am also still breeding from her dam Weona Beach Girl. The family has been very good to us including ID winner Weona Warrior and ID placegetter Weona Chief.
I also bred Heavenly Bread and her dam Localize who is a daughter of Sabilize. We bought Sabilize as a yearling in Kentucky in 1990. Localize is a half sister to Sushi Sushi and is the dam of Our Golden Goddess.
Ima Spicey Lombo was bought from Mick Lombardo in 2013.
Good luck with yours.

That's a lot of foals due Katie, busy times ahead, glad to see you have some AR&RD's , he reads up well, I think Joanne from Bred in the Blue had the first foal born last year to him here & he was a nice type,
would like to see him now to see how he developed a little more.
Are you selling yours or racing them ? My friend is selling his. He said he may keep the RWJ.
We tend to keep and race them. But it's hard to keep up with them all.
Wow. So nice to have a line that keeps on producing Champs.
I love looking at Old fields and seeing horses I'd forgotten. I was 11 in 1994 and we were just starting to buy horses so I used to pay attention to the grand circuit races. Young Mister Charles, The Unicorn, Justaboyden... Takes me back

Forever Gold is now a proud mum of a filly by Rock N Roll Heaven
A Western Terror x Milady Operative filly belonging to our David W (Jimbob)
and with mum
What a lovely colour
Some fantastic shots from Trish
Her caption for this one
Mikey's first foal , I think she looks like "what just came outta there?"
Trish's Joseph trying to get up but it got way too hard & went back to sleep.
Trish's black RWJoe colt out of Vanston Lady , which makes him a 3/4 brousin {brother / cousin} to Waldenburg
The bottom shot is at only a few hours old
and with mum just after she cleaned him up .
Fantastic stuff Trish, I am surprised at how good the pics look despite the forum downsizing them
Thanks Kev , they came out great. Cheers Trish
So well bred. He looks a little treat !!
ours have finally started to foal! 2 born alive, 1 we had to cut out :( Live ones look beautiful
I was wondering when we were going to hear of a few more foalings - pity you did not get 3 Katie
So far we've had 3 born for 3 colts, very rare as we normally have a very high filly rate,3 more to go so still a chance for 50/50.
Lovely looking foal by the way Trish!
We have 3 here so far. A colt by Sir Lincoln, a filly by Sir Lincoln, another colt by Sportswriter. One left to go. The first was born with neo natal maladjustment syndrome and is still requiring some help on some days five weeks later. The other two are fine, the filly by Sir Lincoln is a real character and fast becoming a favourite.
Note, I don't own any of them! One belongs to Mum, one to a daughter and the other is an agistment mare. The last is also an agistment mare. We just have the pleasure and work to do with them :)
This message can be found at the top of the HELP forum (the very last forum) - How to Attach a Picture/File to your post:
Anybody wanting to include a pic but unsure how to follow these steps
- Go Advanced for your post, below the message box you will see Manage Attachments and a File Manager upload box will appear when you click on it.
- In this box click on the green dot for Add Files, its default assumes you want to upload pics from your computer, which is generally the case for your own foal pics etc, so just click on the Select Files tab and double click on wherever you have the pic or pics on your computer and its description will appear in the box
- then all you have to do is click on the Upload tab and you will see that not only does the file appear in the bottom box but the description of it appears under Manage Attachments (where we started this process) and you are done
If it is a file from a website you will see highlighted in blue below the Add Files green button you can click on Website instead of Computer in which case a box for entering the URL appears
If you try and fail I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO IT FOR YOU
just email the pic to me at odonoghuekevin@hotmail.com
A Rocknroll Dance - Barbara Doo nz. Not sure if filly or Colt. The mare has the wobbles or some neurological disorder and never raced but she's kind and a good mum Attachment 658
I love the names of some of mum's NZ siblings Katie - Abba, Steffi Graf, Tennis Ball, Long Live America who was appropriately exported to the USA
