    Thanks for the tip Katie
I have certainly watched it now and it was magnificent horsemanship by the clerk of the course
I might go along with the stewards and their actions on allowing the race

Either PP or the sender of the email to the WA Minister for Education, need to do a better job of redacting - it is easy to read their name

Ararat rarely has any luck in regards to weather.
I reckon they will be lucky to go ahead tonight
Halls Gap is a different beast but we are only 40mins away and we have had over 2 inches of rain in the last 30hrs

We have had newly formed rivers here!
But looking at the radar it could all be gone well before R1 at 5.30

PP had a very bad day on Wednesday.

As most would be aware we were the victim of a hoax late Wednesday afternoon, .......
To Summit Bloodstock and the individuals concerned we again say mea culpa and sorry.

In this age of millionaire babies taking all the headlines how about a quinella in which the combined age of the horses involved is 24!

On Wednesday night, Don Boston, age 14, won his 47th race and our horse Mister Haywood, age 10, ran 2nd.

Both horses have overcome career threatening injuries and are racing in great shape proving once again, age is only a number.

By the way, the quinella paid $25.30, and a few of the people involved had it for a nice return.

Don Boston is a grand old horse, but how good is his mum Full Pleasure? What For, her 12th live foals, recently became her 12th winner. Five of them have earned more than a quarter of a million, how good is she? Her richest earner Kept for Pleasure is also a gem.
