The NA tracks, which are privately owned, do usually run large cards with short intervals between races, but there is little communication between tracks with regard to scheduling racedays and race cards and with no central wagering or broadcasting entity much of the racing tramples over each other in the simulcasting space with negative impacts on wagering returns.
