I am not sure what is happening but all the races at Bathurst seem to be an hour later than what they were originally posted to be
Big Bathurst Night
Em.1 Eye Believe gets a start in the Tiara - she was most unlucky not to be in the field - the deadheat in one of the heats would have been a slower "2nd" than her if there had been a margin not a deadheat
Em.1 Sam By The Seaside gets a start in the Crown.
It of course snowballs into the Consolation emergencies getting starts
R2 is the start of the biggies with the Tiara Consolation at 6.52

The radar does not look flash right now (although passing) so I am thinking 'electrical storms'

In the Bracelet Major Delight proved she was better than the rest of them, as all her rivals had their chance, although Tempting Tigress was a victim of her draw
In the Chalice, Better Be The Best was still the run of the race considering how he blew the start, I reckoned he might have even won if the driver had not panicked but rather opted for one late run at them considering the circumstances - easy in hindsight, I know

Is Nathan Jack suspended? Not driving at Bathurst tonight?
Lux Aeterna simply too good in the Tiara
while Timmy Rictor was the run of the race in the Crown but another victim of the draw

Take a geek at this replay and tell me why there was no formal enquiry into the tactics employed by several drivers...."nothing to see here"
The Crown was certainly crazy early on Dan
Jack Callaghan on Bob Sloy was 3½ wide and Rickie Alchin on Soho Spectre decides he is going 4½ wide around him but Jack decides he is going to boot up
Looking at it again I now see that Soho Spectre was probably the run of the race - 2nd line and worse still a little behind at start, asked to go 4w+ and pushed wider, sits in death
And they're asking this of 2yo's
Somebody else asked me why Timmy Rictor did not follow through and try to hold the leader's back?

Hmmm do you think Bernie may have been doing a job on Nathan to help out Brad? It is not every day that you see a horse carving out sub 27 being tackled for the lead by one who has come from the 2nd row. All to no avail as the kid on the winner was reading things beautifully
