Stylish Lazarus asked to do too much tonight and found wanting - he looks pretty gangly (a 2yo?)

David Moran is the Managing Owner of Timmy Rictor but while he drove it himself, he is being trained by Emma Stewart (? because he wants the best for it?)
The locals gave him the visitors treatment in the run but he just ran away from them in 1.54.9 for his first start = Most Impressive

A good weekend for Vincent, with Hammer Dan winning at Melton and Tembie winning at Globe Derby. Both won easy; Tembie (out of a Live Or Die mare) leading all the way by 16.5 metres in 1:58.5 and Hammer Dan (from a Big Jim mare) by 11 metres in 1:56.3 after death-seating all the way. Admittedly, Tembie beat only a poor 4 horse field but was impressive.
Interesting to note Hammer Dan is now with Andy Gath after having his first two starts for Nathan Jack. Anybody know why?
Vincent is now holding his own as a sire, a difficult task for an Aussie-bred and resident stallions. After watching Sherlock beat Merlin on his merits last night at Alexandra Park I get the feeling he will remain a commercially relevant stallion.
