3yo Arcee Phoenix's 1.56.8 was only 1.4 secs outside Majestic Man's open 2240m Tk Rec
Lastly, the reason Susan Is Her Name was able to do what she did was pretty much natural improvement from 2yo to 3yo for although she gave herself a massive handicap at the start the race time was pretty much identical to what she ran as a 2yo in beating Rockinwithattitude in last year's Breeders Crown

And although the pics seem to show a crowd (mind you, one pic is the cafe which the owners function took over - I am guessing they weren't members of VHRC and could not use that new facility) on the HRV facebook page some participants are saying there was nobody there (they will be in trouble).
