Maybe I have missed something. But I thought a little while ago now, the whip rules were changed from being unable to cross the reins to being allowed to cross them in the final 200m and only a wrist/elbow action.
Queensland allows this and while I'm not 100% sure I think New South Wales allows this.
Is Victoria just yet to change, or they are keeping the both-hands-on-reins-at-all-times approach for good? Or is there a date for a change?
Just think its strange that HRA announced the rule change and it hasn't been followed. If anyone could shed some light I'd appreciate it!
