52 Starts without a win and yet started Odds On

The odds some of our faves start often amazes me but in Race 4 today at Stawell
Sassy Man started $1.70 despite never having won at his previous 52 starts
It was possibly one of the weakest races you are ever likely to see on a C program (on paper at least) with only 1 career win amongst the 8 starters
but Sassy showed plenty of sass and won well and tough - Death seating throughout in respectable time
