Former kiwi filly Our Dolly Would will line up in this week's New South Wales Trotters Derby after winning last week's NSW Trotters Oaks at Tabcorp Park Menangle. The daughter of Artsplace started her harness racing racing career as a pacer and despite winning a Gr. 1 trotting event, trainer and owner Martin Herbert has not ruled out switching the filly back to a pacing gait later on in her career to add to her stud value.

It seems as if this cross of Artsplace with the maternal family of Courage Under Fire works quite well. Ransolm Olds who won in 1:54.9 at Bendigo earlier this year is a 3 year old colt with the same sire Artsplace and once again the sme maternal family as Courage Under Fire.
If anyone is interested I have a yearling colt bred on this same Artsplace - Courage maternal line cross for sale.
