wow, I didn't realize it was that much. That is a massive price.
This year Woodlands Stud will significantly decrease his book in both countries and increase his service fee to $25,000 + GST in New Zealand and $27,500 (inclusive of GST) in Australia.

Yea gets rid of the hobby & small breeders with that price, unless they are rich.
Hopefully his brother continues to do the job. He is a bit cheaper.

Totally agree Trish.....he will become for the elite that can afford him and the rest of us will be left the crumbs. ....so to speak ....us small breeders will soon be no more as in NZ the big studs are buying all the best or better mares and breeding to their stallions.....they will very soon dictate the market.......
That was an incredible win Trish - a 25.9 Q1 and still found something a the end

Woodlands stud and others are jumping all over the fact that Mach 3 has departed. This leaves a gap for them to increase the stud price of BD. I am sure others will follow. But as stated in other posts you wont see the pleb going to BD. Maybe Art Major will go up as well and then we can wait and see which stallion jumps up into "3rd" on the list, maybe one of those stallions who are in the $6.5-$9k range will be bumped up to $11k-$12k. I can think of two.

Maybe it will be his nephew?

Makes Roll with Joe look good, that's for sure. Peppertree farm just a had a brief special on RWJ but that didn't last long due to hot demand.
RWJ doing a great job at Menangle tonight. Very impressive wins by Ignatius & Jilliby Galwaygirl.
Well Done Roll With Joe.
