Why would the drivers on Devendra and Mach Alert do what they did? Just plain irrational! Maybe they wanted to have the quickest first quarter and that's it. Lang would have been giggling from the start.

I could justify giving Rattray a holiday for his stubborness.
It has been fairly hard racing but I can now see Lenny and Phil giving themselves easier runs in the 3rd round with them clearly the faves for the final when draws will become all important
It will be interesting to see if the stewards ask any Q's when they are driven cold next round
