Goes to show, you might have the best horse in the race but if you don't get luck in running, you've got nothing. The start in the Oaks final was an absolute shamozzle and the race was over before it began for a couple of live chances. Machabiba broke just as the gate begins to fold back and nothing could be done and nobodys fault, just plain bad luck. Beauty Secret just did everything right with the soft run behind Posh. There would be a few connections wondering what if...
