I have quoted you in the Sprint lane thread K as I think you make a fair point.
Not wanting to argue about it but I thought race 4 at Pinjarra yesterday was a big plus for sprintlanes.Longshot draws 7..drags back to last..runs up to 3 back the pegs..all horses have the opportunity to pull out and get some momentum up before the inside horses get an opportunity to sprint.with no sprintlane the winner would have run around 5th.Great to see all horses on a loose rein up the straight..Have a look when the replay becomes available..as for some reason it sometimes takes forever for race replays to be put up for WA races!!
Cheers K

Desdon Murruffy brought up David Murphy's 15th training win for the season at Ballarat tonight. Murruffy is most appropriate as Murph is a beauty at Ruffy's - it paid $18.90 and I reckon that would be roundabout the average for his 15 winners this season. David definitely provides good value for his followers.

Gee Gumdrops has become my 2nd favourite horse over the last couple of months. Nathan Jack, love him or loathe him, drove her to perfection.
Another big night for hall camp @ gp..
Quinny awesome again wet track and home in 26.9 & 27.8
And alta christiano equally impressive..1.56 over the long trip
Haven't had much competition but winning impressively.
Hope they can stay sound and both head east for features.
Panella (5) and Morris (4) drive 9 of the 10 at Newcastle tonight, neither of them had a drive in the only race they didn't win between them.
Bad enough for Lance in trying to work out how to beat the sprint lane without having to worry about a pair of runners from the same stable
ps Chilli has the x factor our sport needs

At least Lance eased whipping the Champ at least 50m before the post. I'm still shocked he is still racing after all those years of brutal racing! Mind boggling really!
Just watched Sat nights open class race from Brisbane. Boy oh boy is Avonnova gonna play a big role in their upcoming carnival. U just don't work 3 wide to the chair in a good lead time, park, then run away from your rivals in a 54.7 rate.....gobsmacking. If he draws a gate where he can utilise his gs I'll be more than happy to take him to roll the big guns.
