A day at the races


Santa came early to son yesterday. Thanks to Kevin, Luke and I headed off to Flemington yesterday. Off to meet one of his racecaller idols Greg Miles. A very excited young man knocked on the door of the commentary box and ventured inside. Had a great chat and given the opportunity to watch Greg prepare for and call a race, But it didn't end there. Greg then offered him the keys to the guest commentators box! In he went and called a couple from it. Did a great job too! Had to pry him out of it with a crowbar to go home.
Tipping he'll never forget that!

Thanks for doing that Greg and for giving up your time. Way too good!

What an absolute thrill that must have been for Luke to meet Greg Miles and getting to sit up and see what it's all about from the Great commentators position, You've done a wonderful thing for the young fella Kev.
