Yes a huge effort by Gary Quinlan Kev and both fillies went terrific.
Fair effort by Gary Quinlan to prepare the winners of both APG 2yoF tonight at Melton

Hard on the eyes Kev, The winner went super in that heat but I thought that Rockstar Angel's run was an eyecatcher, She's got some breeding behind her coming from an Artiscape 1/2 sister to Christian Cullen.
Yep - all five first starters in the Melton APG Heats had some serious horses in their pedigrees

Great to see JET LAAG still doing a job...nice win by one of his 2yo's CAPTAINTURBULENCE at AP yesterday
You wouldn't normally expect a 2yo having its 3rd start, drawn the pole, Nathan Jack driving, with a last start Melton 2nd to Goodtime Sammy in 1.57ish next to its name - to start 50/1 at Cranbourne.
Well Rocknroll Gold did and only got beat 3m.
The reason for the 50/1 would have been that his stablemate was odds on fave but that is not who beat him.
I reckon if Goldie had have held on, the stable would have been kicking itself

Story is up now Glen

Good to see he is still a colt - he may be worth a try if a comeback is ruled out (If his 6th dam had been Ar Miss instead of her sister, he would be even more promotable)
