Where the hell is that?

I keep my own database of Victoria's winning trainers and like to include where they are based BUT sometimes I swear that our trainers go out of their way to make their location unusual.
I generally track their place names down but tonight Dylan Marshall won his first race as a trainer and he lists his location as Latrobe
As far as I know Latrobe is a local government region but not a place as such. Can anyone enlighten me /set me straight?

The last word you wrote in your post is "straight". But think of "strait" instead.
Across the water is Latrobe near Devonport.
He's from Tassie. But has lived in Bendigo for a few years now.
Must never have been updated in the HRV system.

The Nathan Jack article lists Dylan as being a Flora Hill (Bendigo) trainer
