The word would seem to be out that Vaughn Lynch's position of General Manager Operations no longer exists
Talking of Paper Giants does that mean I can put in a pic of Asher Keddie (I am a bit of a fan)

The Bendigo gallops cup tomorrow is worth $180k to the winner and $300k overall
It only has 9 starters (pays down to 8th)
Only 4/9 have won more than $180k in total
Only 2/9 have won a race in their last 4 starts
Money well spent?

With over 6 million in stakes this weekend, one would think this was a reasonable request.
The Bendigo Cup field is very ordinary indeed. One of the UK horses has won 3 over the jumps !
Where does the prize money come from for such an ordinary bunch?
How do I see a trainer's lifetime stats? Or even this season stats?
Thanks for the question Katie (puffs out his chest) - having HRA make these available is one of my few achievements LOL. Click on the year from 2012 onwards

Chasing lifetime driving stats for the Veteran Drivers Trot at Bendigo on November 11 we used
the stats from 1980 on the Harvet System.. obtained by request from HRV racing office are probably accurate.
Before 1980, I used a combination of The Age Trotting Celendar ( from 1948) Year Books and TCB Gazettes.
Its quite taxing...and not necessariily accurate/
We plan to check our nefound records with the veteran drivers: Brian Gath, Graeme Lang, Jim O'Sullivan, Noel Shinn, Dick Lee, Peter Manning, Cliff Powell, Bill Spitiri, Ginger Gleeson, Graeme Whittle. Keith Pratt on the night.
Brian Gath leads the group, and according to accumulated sources up arounf 3,350 wins
