Two prominent Victorian horsemen have passed away in recent days - Ken Wills and Les Turner, both names will be fondly remembered by many.
I wondered about that - NSW : the state where connections have little control

A bit at the bottom of the Angel out article.
But Tritton has another rising star aimed at the $200,000 Group 1 in Anything For Love.
The four-year-old had his first start for the stable at Menangle last week and won rating a career best 1:51.4.
“He is a nice horse and works as good as any of my horses,” Tritton said.
“He is a bit on the back foot compared to some of the other horses just having his first start back the other day but he will be ready for the Chariots.”
Anything For Love is racing at Menangle on Tuesday.
Our Waikiki Beach resumes at Menangle on Saturday

I cannot believe Our Jericho and The Bucket List got a start in the WA Pacing Cup ahead of Flaming Flutter his last start second was huge.
Bucket List beaten 12m Interdom and a length by Hectorjayjay in Heat. Have a look at the replays of his also rans and see him get stuck behind slow horses due to bad draws - last week is a prime example. Won't happen from gate 2 this week. The Bucket List is $9 in early markets ... love to see this 25/1
Rod, flaming flutter has not won a race for a year ...lo and behold it was the SA pacing cup. Bucket list not only got into the race, he drew 2 but he wont run a zac in this race even though BB and the Bull have drawn wide. He has never beaten any of the horses in this field and it is a cop out that he gets stuck behind slow horses.
