5 second faves so hopefully not too many down in the dumps
I noticed there were only 3 odds on pops with none very short.
Down here, Hamilton had Four $1.30 faves - thankfully 3 won

Not one favourite on the 9 race card won at Wagga today.

Great to see 40 Saturday night meetings scheduled for Melton 2018/19 season. Commonsense prevails. It is a nightmare driving to Melton from the northeastern suburbs peak hour Friday night. Thanks David. That's been the constant feedback over the last 12 months regarding Melton and the need to have Saturday night there as our feature night. The chopping and changing of Fridays/Saturdays at Melton isn't helpful.
With a scratching now only 6 starters in the Horsham Cup tomorrow.
It has moved to April this year and it has been reduced to $50k from $70k

I believe I read/heard somewhere that the club has put the savings into top up of other races across the season. Not sure where similar savings made over recent years at two other major tracks went.
Several of these races run with less than eight starters this year. Aside from swallowing pride and returning these events to handicap conditions I hope something can be done for next season. Clubs dip into their own funds to help put these stakes on and deserve better than worrying if they are even going to get a field for their major race.
It didn't get up but Race 4 Redcliffe, were the rest of them driving for Inciter or just a few bad drives? Inciter came in late and Lockton Art drifted.
I can see why you might have a problem with Travelnfast's challenge Brendan but I can definitely say the leader and winner were not worried about Inciter
