As Luke said - in France the whole field would have been disqualified

I don't follow the trotters as much as I should (they're pretty well mannered in the older ranks nowadays)
At Bendigo tonight I was marvelling at the difference between Emerald Stride and CK Spur
I looked up there breeding of course, to see that Emerald is a Bettors
There are not too many trotting Bettors
and Emerald has a stunning Pacing pedigree
Her 2nd dam not only won $500k but is a full sis to Glowing Report who won 4 Gp1's including a Jugette

2yo Trotters is that an Oxymoron
Being mean but Sweet On You won the 2yo trot by 95m (although Illawong Moonbeam trotted throughout as well)

Mataderos a 4yo out of La Coocaracha won his 3rd trot at Terang tonight
La Coocaracha is certainly an interesting one.
She is out of the pacing mare Poetry but by Safelty Kept who has 6 trotters in his Australian Top 20
It is interesting to note that although La Coocaracha was sent to good pacing stallions 3 times, for the two of them that raced (74 times) they only notched up 2 wins
Her 8 trotting services who have reached racing age, have so far notched up 58 wins

Follow The Stars has one going around in the 2yo Maiden Trot at Ballarat tomorrow night
Her name Thats Not My Gait tells you that FTS has not had too many trotters
The other one however has a good record in WA

I am starting to take more interest in the trotters - I like the look of the ones who don't use any gear (hopples etc)
I was impressed with the 2yo trot at Bendigo tonight - I know they are virtually 3yo's but the field of 6 were faultless, something you don't always see in the older trots
The time was pretty good too

Like the days of old
In R7 at Echuca tonight we have Andyou coming off 100m in a mere 2130m race
The TAB cannot handle a 3 digit handicap and have him down as being off 99m

I don't think he made any errors but he never got in camera!

Can anyone explain how Gentleman Sir is still allowed to race? It cannot trot.
