I notice that Bernie Winkle's claiming price has come down to $50k, I know that nobody is likely to claim the 9yo but it shows there is no room for sentiment in the Eric Anderson/Douglas barn

You don't get better than that Kev.

Warragul is a bugger of a location for attracting trainers to their meetings
Hopefully they (with the help of Cranbourne) can become Mildura like in being self sufficient
In the meantime trainers like Andy Gath and the Burnett/Mifsud clan that support them should be commended for being prepared to travel

A strange write up for next Tuesday's George $25k Croxford at Echuca
Forgot to mention the odds on favourite Petillante
Mind you, 6 is a horror draw at Echuca

I know some people like the Rewind feature that HRV has ie putting up a Replay of Meltons TrotsVision program
I have not used it before but want to have a look this week
Does anybody know how long they take to put this up?
We are talking Saturday's races and it is now Wednesday

TAB confusing non West Australians today
Have trots listed as Kellerberrin - no such track on HRA list
It is Central Wheatbelt - HRA has used this name (as usual) today
ps mind you Kellerberrin probably makes more sense

Shepparton is popular with many trainers but not really Emma Stewart, which has to contribute to its popularity
It is most likely the distance. For a Ballarat trainer it is a good 35 min longer than from Melton
It is even further than going to Warragul
Warragul should be more popular with Melton trainers but the shorter trip than going to Shep is probably balanced out by the toll roads you have to take - they can add up for commercial vehicles

9yo stallion Soho Tribeca since last breeding season has been back in work. He had one start 3yrs ago but really hasn't truly raced for 4yrs
Desperate or Daring?

A ten year old bull horse, virtually finished as a racehorse in 2018, to contest the 2022 Inter-Dominion? He has eighty-three foals onto ground from his first crop and just stood his second season at a $3,000 fee. So his connections reckon it is a good idea to put him back in work and contest the Inter-Dominion, which falls smack bang in the middle of the breeding season.
I am sure there are some very sound reasons for this story being taken seriously, though I have no idea why. On this one I agree with Darrel Kerrigan's thoughtful analysis of the facts.
Isn't this a blatant case of a ridiculous entry to make sure a race stands up
