In what I would imagine to be pretty cool conditions at 7.30 at Kilmore
Khafaji untouched, got within a second of the 1690m Tk Rec even though he did not get the lead until the 1000m
It was also some run by Two Sock Creek to get second

Speed Explosion or NOT

How slow were they going at the end of R4 at Hamilton today, the last Q was 32.3 and still the winner won by 10m

I calculated that the winner of the R1 2yo on debut ran 4.5 secs faster and was travelling at 14m per second so he would have beaten this lot by over 60m

Blacksadance held the Tk Rec at Albion Park at 1.50 flat
Last night he sat in the DEATH for the first 900m+ before powering to the lead
and SMASHING the record to make it 1.49.2
It seems unfathomable that he can take the best part of a second off the record from the death, winning by 12m with nothing pressuring him

Her record of 10-0-2-2 improved to 43-9-7-6
And now as a broodmare she has provided John with
5yo Blacksadance
4yo Big Wheels (who also won at APk on Saturday)
3yo Awaywego

Those 3 have already provided him with 39 wins with plenty of years to run and a couple more on their way to the racetrack
