Rc8 Brisbane gallops today also contains Eureka in the race name.
Lets check in and compare tote pools later tonight of our Eureka.
We have lost all respect for harness racing. We are happy to be out of it.
We are enjoying the Gallopers now.
Will we watch the Eureka?.......No

It is a pretty early start
We have a $100k race at 6.05 - the 2yo Breeders Final
They are all big races after that with The Eureka at 8.45
(I don't understand why they didn't find another $30k to make it a round $2m)
Last race at 9.15 !

Grand total of all the deductions for the 4x emergencies = 0.00. Marken proven to be around that 120% mark.
I really hope when factual info like this is so easy to disprove PP drivel wrong that the appropriate reliability is given to articles where its not so easy for the general public to collate the necessary info to disprove his drivel.
As for the race.
I'll take Leap to Fame to win from Lost Storm, Catch A Wave and Encipher.
Interested to see Speak the Truth if he gets a good run. I like him and it would be great to see him measure up.
Len Smith interesting. If Louis and Mach Dan set a hot early pace we know Better Eclipse has it in him to run a 1.48 over the top. Well priced at $6.50.
Zuess Bromac is overpriced for a horse who took ground off the race fave Louis last start in a 26.9 qtr.
He gets heaps and heaps wrong but he is the only one not paid to spruik nothing but positive news. I am more worried about the distasteful things he writes than the wrong stuff but long may he reign for without somebody telling us both sides, how are we ever going to get the complete picture without being the CEO of NSW of VIC

Well at least The Eureka got a story in the Sydney Morning Herald
https://www.smh.com.au/sport/racing/...01-p5e1cm.html
It is a story about Richard Matthews family still owning Catch A Wave
Page 9 of 9 pages in the Sport section (I think it should open as complimentary for non-subscribers)
but at least better than the sister paper The Age - as usual nothing on harness racing
Also interesting that for the gallops The Age has 1 page of Form Guide/Fields while The Sydney Morning Herald has 8 pages

I love watching the babies so I have had a look at the heats of the 2yo's
I like Aromet Girl in the fillies in what looks at even race but I want at least $4 from that draw
In the colts I like The Greek General but I want $5, while Double Fear at $19 and $3.80 the place might be a cheaper interest
I would like Brendan's thoughts

WTF The numbers on The Eureka runners are illegible from a distance
