She might get on a roll now, even Trish would know the mighty "Evil's Afoot" took 34 starts to break her duck and that meant a 1300klm road trip to Broken Hill to get the job done!!

And what a mighty horse she was & a great drive by Dan to win her 1st race.
Big effort to Broken Hill return , but they enjoyed there trip .

Left home for Hamilton about 10
I wanted to see the palomino White Lion
Had planned to shop and lunch in town before seeing a few races
Running late leaving town but tell my wife we only need to get there before WL’s race
Get there in time for the race before but just have a cuppa in the car park before going in
Bloody Hell he has been scratched (Again)
Leave in disgust - nearly at Dunkeld now

I had checked scratchings before leaving but not after 10 - never again

EDIT Home now and just see that he was a Late Scratching - I could not have won. Well going to Stawell for shopping with 45mins of driving v 3hrs for Hamilton would have been a win
