What a huge ask for Nocturnal to come to Melton 6 days after his first start at Menangle last night
While the Vics do not have to travel and have 7 days recovery

Nocturnal has drawn 2 so that is good

It was Nutrien Finals for both the 2yo's and 3yo's but I will put it here
and 4 different stables win !
We are so used to seeing the Stewart stable dominate.
Admittedly they were unlucky not to win two as Cardigan Dan went terrific after a drive from Cam Hart which I think he would like to have again - mind you it was hard to make sense of David Moran's drive which stitched Cam up

Great to see 4 other trainers win . Good on them all .
Vic APG heats at Bendigo tonight but they pretty much mean nothing as there is only one colts heat and one fillies heat so all through to the Finals in 10 days time

Although WA had their series way back in Feb - they were able to field 2 heats of each sex
I see Emma Stewart's Loucasso is favoured to beat Sols Me Name (both are quite short) but the Tall Dark Stranger colt was VERY impressive on debut - running good time at Cranbourne
