Greg Sugars only had 3 drives at Kilmore tonight - all for other stables

Good story on harnesslink on "Herbie" doing well in the US but I don't think Luke McCarthy was there.

Herbertson’s mum Jody, of Lexton, near Ballarat, said yesterday.

“On Friday he did a double-header driving at Harrahs (6th and 8th) and that night finished second and third at the Meadowlands. He was thrilled to pick up an outside catch drive, but I think he was surprised to find there’s no driver fees over there.

USA might not be as attractive as I thought!
Who would want to drive a complete outsider

Herbie really looks the part , if you take a close look at the photo on his story . He sits in the gig like a natural.

I remember a decade or so ago when Chris Alford was always given the pick of the drives for the Stewart/Tonkin stable
It stopped being a given to the point where he seemed to be completely vanquished. Why no loyalty from the trainers? Was there a falling out ? Who knows

    Mark Pitt eventually took over
    Of late not so much
Have a look at Melton for Saturday night
The Stewart stable have plenty of top chances but Mark Pitt only has one plum drive
