Huge shock, just seen this on Facebook, our hearts go out to his family and friends who will be having great difficulty coming to terms with this.

Obviously Harness Racing just became much poorer tonight.

So massively sad to see the news about Greg's passing. Devastating for Jess and families, it's just not fair, my heart breaks for you all.

I cannot think of anyone in this sport that I admired more. I cannot get my head around this and I'm afraid that I am having trouble looking at that beautiful photo that HRV have posted. Life is a ridiculous raffle. I hope his family find some solace in the fact that he was a massive achiever in the short life he was given. I just can't stop shaking my head.

I was absolutely shocked to hear this sad news. My deepest sympathy to Greg's family.

Life is like an early morning mist we see it for a short while and then it disappears. In Greg's case way to short.

I am still in shock but great people seem to attract great people . Its easy to understand that Greg had a lot to do with mentoring James Herbertson . The fact that he's coming home to support Jess shows what affect that Greg & Jess had on him . Obviously a tremendous person.
