Crazy IMO. Open to exploitation. Eg London To A Brick is tailed off and knows he is going to run last and get 1pt (guessing here) but he knows that the horse that runs the fastest Last Q and Last Half can get 3/4 bonus points (not sure which) so he goes ever so slowly until the 800 then builds it up and burns home to elevate himself to the equivalent of finishing 5th last and a rough chance of still making the final with a good run in the 2nd round

That is so stupid . God you would be pissed off if you had the same no of points with another horse for the 12th spot & if a 4yo had won the RS , it went in the race ahead of you , (well probably both ) .

Here is the scoring table. It seems ridiculous that the 3 top rated horses are all in the same heat next weekend (especially when there are only 2 rounds) - making it so much easier for those in the other 2 heats
