Anyone know where you find adjourned inquiries ?
I don't follow much non-Vic Stephen so I have not seen anything.
I will put a contrary view
I do not know the horses traits but he pretty much looked beaten when Jett decided seeking some luck and taking a breather was worth a chance But he actually stitched himself up. Nevertheless, I wouldn't call going to the fence shocking, I thought it was more desperate
His jostling would indicate he was still trying to win
It looked like he would have taken the sit on the fav and leader if he could have got in early - would that have been shocking?
He is only 17yo and the horse was a maiden at the time

Years ago I had Vic stewards agree that it should be tacked on to the original stewards report for the meeting/incident in question so that people could find it but I think that petered out

Well it should not have .
That is the intelligent thing to do . Saves time looking but maybe that's what they want .
I would publish the findings if foul play had taken place .
Some races you just scratch your head , the foul play is so so obvious & they get off.
This is the race I would like to see the outcome .

RACE 1 – BARASTOC PACE – 1609 metres
GENERAL – Stewards opened an inquiry into the running and handling of the event in particular with runners LOVE LOU (J Taaffe) and LONGNWINDINGROAD (B Hughes). Stewards adjourned the inquiry to a time and date to be fixed.
LOVE LOU– Pre-race sample was taken. Obtained inside running over the concluding stages. Post-race sample was taken.
