Discuss Australian harness racing here
Stating the obvious you say but in the past I have turned a blind eye to this, thinking that the Breeding thread can be somewhat of a graveyard in terms of poster visits but recent activity has shown this is not necessarily true.
Maybe it's common knowledge to some, but it wasn't to me and I've seen quite a few people mention it over the years. Once fields are out it's hard to know what the exact conditions of the race were. Short of having a gazette which changes anyway...
From time to time, usually within this Australian Forum you will see members banned without an explanation, and may wonder why.
99% of the time it is because these accounts are created by one of two people who have nothing better to do then to...
With ongoing drug scandals in Australia it's important that everybody understands what can and can't be said on a public forum from a legal perspective.
A public forum IS NOT the same as chatting to people at the track. Legally it's akin to...

Indulgent by Real Desire from Calories
I think these kind of posts often end up in Odds and Ends so I thought I might try giving them their own thread. Quite often they can be covered in the 2yo thread but sometimes it is not a 2yo that you want to highlight such as tonight in Race 4...
Inspired by fellow poster on this Forum Messenger, aka Kevin O'Donoghue who's 40 years following the trots has had him essentially ignore the good old Squaregaiter, i have decided to open a thread dedicated to the Trotters only.
As Kev has alluded...
This 2yo colt out of Bronte Jones rated 1.55.9 winning the 1st ht of the Vicbred Platinum Home Grown tonight at Bendigo beating the latest bling - Show Me The Bling.

What a super horse this fella has been...every stable should have one
Perhaps this is not the place to post? I think the decision is rather pedantic as the board currently stands. My view is that ANYTHING to do with Harness should go under the Harness forum, anything to keep up the traffic.
The title "Breeders"...
Anyone know the whys and wherefores of horse's non appearance for the last 4 years? Won well last night at Wagga and even went out as favourite.
First of all Catch Your Breath going 1.53.9 at Kilmore on Sunday and today Fearless Leader going 1.55.9 at Horsham. How many more records will fall this summer?
Sad for Simone and Bill Walker to lose their best horse but good for Harness Lovers to see him fulfilling his enormous potential with D.Aitken and the Great Man steering.Sensational efforts in his last two wins not to many horses have CRUISED past...
BIG highlight for me last week...one for the battlers

Seems there has been 6 positives to this in Nsw harness although non yet in Gallops.
Seems like it is the same as Epo and can cause a horse to collapse and even die.Can be administered by needle or tablet.
Dare say we need to wait and to see the...
According to the BOM it already feels like 0° at Bendigo this evening
and yet the winners of the first two races are
R1 winner Hot To Rock
R2 winner Delightful System
I am thinking that the following may be good chances
R3 Fianna Gael
What are your feelings about the changes in the harness whip rules over the last year or so?
Personally, I am quite happy with them now myself, but have the feeling from talking to some harness "people" that they think that reverting back to how...
I have always thought the video replay quality you get with the HRV results to be bloody ordinary - it is a very small view screen and if you enlarge it, it only becomes a bigger blur. NSW trots TV has always been sharper. Ventured onto HRNZ and...
