Kerryn got a QDT for her drive on Treachery in the 3rd fillies heat tonight.
I suppose the stewards were wondering if she was only willing to hand up to a stablemate?
3yo Breeders Crown heats at Bendigo tonight
3 for the fillies and 3 for the C&Gs
Not many need to be eliminated as semi's are next
Heat 2 for the boys have a big advantage as it was smallest heat and with the 2 scratchings (including Bar Room Banta) 8 of the 10 will qualify

3 of the heats were processions but the other 3 were really good races

You have to say Joanna beat Ladies fair and square, Ladies may have been denied the death/lead but she got the 1x1 easily (stablemate was never going to prevent that)
The Final has the potential to be an outstanding race, it would be great if it was next week, hopefully the semi's and draw are fair on all the fillies

Busy yesterday, I just caught the replays of the 2yo Fillies heats
Irish was clearly the slowest overall but is anyone going to bet against her
The first 4 were all impressive in the next and I don't think Amore will start that much shorter than the Stewart trio next time they meet
I liked Relentless Me's 3rd in the next and while Encipher was tough in the last heat, Playing Up made up an incredible amount of ground to upset her

I will catch up with the boys heats when I get home from Melbourne but Michael Howards article covers them superbly

Looking at the Semi draws
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...s/?mc=MX131121
2yo C&G : Beach Villa and Anotherbigman got the perfect draws and Hes Charlies Angel should be happy probably coming out of 4. Brutally Handsome not so lucky with 11 and Catch A Wave who is now ODM has 12 in the other but that wont stop him
2yo Fillies : 9 shouldn't be too bad for Irish Black Label but 1-4 would all be happy. Heat performers have all drawn well in 2,3,5,6 in the other Semi
3yo C&G : 9 for Major Moth too but that should be OK with the rest of the talent off the front in 4,5,6,7 which might make it a little tricky for Yambukian (7). Act Now has drawn beautifully with 4 in the other Semi while 11.Beyond Delight will have to contend with coming from 10
3yo Fillies : Beach Music 3 and Joanna 5 would be happy but not so much Tough Tilly with 12. In the other Semi Ladies In Red is another who should find the trailing draw 9 OK

JB is writing up tonight's semi between Twist and Ladies as important

I would be expecting David Moran on Ladies to be doing the bare minimum to qualify realizing the grand final is not until next week

Not the start that the Stewart stable would have expected - 4 starters in R1 and none qualified (first 6)

Everything since has qualified including 5 fillies in the first semi of the 2yo!

Lauriston (our Bonnie) and David Moran has not had the greatest of nights - he had 4 drives for them and won well with Beach Music but favourites Beach Villa and Irish Black Label did not even qualify top 6, while if we didn't already know, Ladies is going to have a big task in the final with Better Twist and her stablemates. The draws are going to be super important (Tune in 7pm Monday night)
