The breeding record of the dam of todays Ballarat 2yo winner Celebrity Guest seems most unusual
Celebrity Ball was a decent 2yo herself winning 3 races including a Breeders Crown heat and came 5th in the Gp1 Gold Tiara final WHILE IN FOAL
for she had her first foal that year
then she returned to racing back in foal and won a Breeders Crown heat as a 3yo too - the foal she was carrying however is listed as deceased

Her dam is Larrakeyah Lady and it would seem her owners wanted a racehorse but could not wait for her to be a broodmare

Not only do we have the Derby and Auckland Cup onto tomorrow but there is also the Gp1 Cardigan Bay for the 2yo C&G and the Gp2 Young Guns for the 2yo Fillies. I thought this was a heats and final event but looking at the form of some of the starters it would seem not - TC will be able to fill me in
