Watch the DJ at 10.40 AEDT tonight
The Irish campaign kicks off in a C2 at Northam on Tuesday.
C2 because with the limited prizemoney in Ireland, Meadowbranch DJ is assessed as only being C1

Missed the race, unsure what happened but 50m from the winner
Dam, I missed it too (I am sure I set my ph to remind me) and I am not sure we can get WA replays.
WA posters please weigh in

Hi Kevin,
watched race last night Meadowbranch DJ caught three wide for first 400 metres raced up to take on Oaksana Boy for the lead got a little fired up. Went to the front at the bell Mark Reed let loose on Foxy Dame (started fav) went past DJ like she had just joined in. Probably needed the run but with the huge rise in the ID fields I believe they have a serious dilemma.

Eight Inter Dominion final acceptors engaged in the Smoken Up sprint on Friday night at Melton.
I am a bit worried about the NZ runners teecee - kiwi's don't seem to handle Perth too well

positioned as it is between NZ's two major carnivals positioned as they have been for longer than I have been around meant it was not going to attract anything of interest from here. That said we don't blame WA officials for the positioning of the ID at this time of the year. Their hands were tied by the apparent intransigence of those in the Eastern states of Australia happy to move around place their carnivals without due consideration.
I was actually thinking about another sport, sorry Tony
