A New Leader ?
Rocknroll Rhylee comes to Cobram off a 3rd at Stawell at $1.90 and wins at $128.
Heavily backed favourite Jets Art at $1.60 subject to run being queried.
The results have got the price wrong Noel but that is an interesting one
Hargreaves/Ashwood runners that win do not normally pay $53
I saw his previous run at Stawell and it was a so-so 3rd

That race is worth having a look at. The fav was pretty much a cert beaten by the 'unusual' drive by Mal Diebert on the horse that finished last - unusual in that the horse was checked and lost several lengths and instead of looking for a breather Mal took off and stole the lead (putting the fav 3 back on the fence and doomed when Mal's horse inevitably died). Meanwhile Alex Ashwood had driven a masterful race first of all getting his horse from the 12 spot to midfield on the fence then off the fence when Mal's was checked and then he took the opportunity to stitch up the fav by going to the lead down the back when he knew that Mal's leader had to die

I am a little surprised that the stewards did not question Mal's drive - he clearly believes his horse is champion
