What's happened in NJ is certainly a factor Flashing but for mine, it's by no means the whole box & dice.
He went in against the first crop of the great Somebeachsomewhere & that was a tough ask for all of the sires represented but even so, a number of them still did very well.
Even if moved RnR H to NY or Pa. I doubt his sale averages would be on the rise again.
The buyers must be getting off him for other reasons. I say this because if you look at the sale average (29k) vs the service fee (20k) and then the number of yearlings sold for the service fee or lower (19 of the 40 made 20k or less), I just don't think that's a reaction to the NJ situation alone.
