Just bring the top 3 from Golden Nugget across for Chariots!
The preliminaries start tonight with the CCF Paleface Adios Stakes (cannot bring myself to refer to it by its full name) and the Boden Projects Sibelia Stakes
A couple of poorly rated horses in the Paleface indicates it is missing the Stewart/Tonkin stable

You take Lochinvar Art out of the Newcastle Mile and it no longer resembles a Gp1 race

But it will be interesting to see how Minstrel goes in the Chariots tomorrow night

Friday’s change in conditions now means a horse that has accepted for any direct qualifying race – such as the Newcastle Mile – can be considered for discretionary selection into the Miracle Mile
To be named the Lochinvar Art rule

Yes, in keeping with tradition Club Menangle and HRNSW ignore their own conditions and rules - dare I say Australian corporate laws - to trash the entire industry just too ensure bumper dining package sales are achieved. Read the conditions carefully and you will understand what they have done is illegal. Solution? Plug in the shredder.
1.48.9 Expensive Ego
I know they're not machines but it shows that his run down here in the Bonanza was an aberration

Lochinvar Art has been scratched from the MM so no need for Club Menangle and HRNSW to embarrass themselves further by changing any more conditions.
What a super night of racing is in store for us at Menangle on Saturday
Races 3 - 7 are mouth watering stuff

So now the annual game of how do they stuff up the field:
My take
1 Black Prince
2 Expensive Ego
3 Wolf Stride
4 Alta Orlando
5 King of Swing
6 Out To Play
7 Stylish Memphis
8 Zues Bromac
Probably can't go wrong this year because Mach Shard and One Change probably did enough in 3rd to justify a spot in advance of Zues Bromac. I'd lean towards giving Mach Shard first crack over One Change based on past performances.
An issue is you have horses draw wide in the prelims and run midfield hard to justify putting them in ahead of 3rd unless something extreme happens.
Weakest edition since Baby Blings I would think.
