I will start on a good note and say good on Smoken Up. As for Carribean Blaster, can no doubt be driven tough, but is better coming with a sit IMHO. Don't know if tactics are what's best for the horse or just because Kate can't hold him. Couldn't hold him in the warm ups. She even had a little bit trouble holding Regal Knight I think it was. Smoken Up always ensures a solid pace to work home off, although admittedly last night was tame by his standards, so no reason Blaster couldn't have been driven with a sit.
Daryl Douglas MUST spend some time on the sideline. Owners, trainers especially but punters too invest a lot of time and money into races, only for one man to take a personal vendetta and try and stamp his authority on Mildura visitor driven by N Jack. Firstly you gotta give Daryl credit, he is a better driver than that, which means it was a premeditated attack, sacrifice his horse just to get Nathan beat. Note: Not that it matters but I bet La Machane (somehow got leaders back?) so not talking through pocket.
Also, just a piece of advice, don't throw out winning tickets. Fuaaarrrkkkkk.
Talk about coming in with a 'big bang'

Yep and I held back too, how would the owners of Born again sassy be feeling about his drive?? I would of sacked him on the spot and told the stewards to suspend him for not giving his horse anychance of winning.
Cant wait to read the stewards report from this, You watch the stewards try and cover douglas up again like they always do. Protected Species. If the stewards dont suspend him then what is this sport coming too? I bet there will be alot of angry punters who backed Jamies Boy, cant see the stewards refunding the bets...

Yep they have deleted my posts again and got angry.....the truth hurts
Daryl Douglas, driver of Born Again Sassy, when questioned regarding his driving tactics during the middle stages when occupying the position outside of the leader Jamies Boy NZ, explained that he applied pressure for a short distance passing the 1100m due to the tempo of the race being only moderate during that section and in his opinion Born Again Sassy was suited to maintaining a consistent speed throughout and capable of doing work in its races. Stewards considered that although the challenge appeared unnecessary, the distance for which it occurred and the sectional times recorded could not constitute Mr Douglas’ driving tactics being entirely unreasonable in the circumstances. A veterinary examination of Born Again Sassy revealed no obvious abnormalities.
So if its deemed Unnecessary and no action was taken against the driver then what is the point of having stewards
