The instructions would appear to have been - don't give him a hard run

Anybody know where Mr Wick is in terms of resuming?

He would have had a harder run at the trials.. Pathetic!
I'm with Evan Kev, Learnt nothing from that and he appeared to be paddling.
I am not convinced he is in great form but they were never going to find out tonight
If you missed it - easily done as they shafted it to Sky 2, have a look

I don't know guys. He has forever and always been held up for one run at them. Can't make ground in 26.6.
What are your thoughts on scheduling of victoria cup, hunter cup, and interdominion heats in consecutive weeks?
Good for the viewer/punter but I'd be PEEEEED off if I was an owner/trainer of one of the stars.
Your question Dean.....what are your thoughts?
Bit different this year I guess with the Interdom following so closely behind but in future I reckon a great idea. Showcases harness racing for a whole week in Vic. Got the APG sale in between as well.
Interstate and NZ visitors can come for a week and not just a weekend x 2. Tipping it's gets pretty costly to make 2 trips for the 2 races. People come for one or the other. Not just for spectators but for participants in the 2 races as well. This way get the best going around in both races and make it like a week long 'carnival'.
Worth giving it a try I reckon.
